Wave 3 (top row) is the current target. You approved the direction of the wave-2 register studies and rejected their density — “way too busy… a bit too AI-coded… needs to be a bit more minimalist”. Wave 3 holds the same register and layout and strips them back, at four points on a restraint ladder, so there is a positive target to build to rather than only a negative one.

Wave 1 tested eight answers to “what does a link look like?”. Wave 2A refined the strongest territory (interlock). Wave 2B tested light-first vs dark-first register on an applied home page.

There is no longer a logo. Per your call it is too early and too presumptuous for a project this young, so the wave-1 and wave-2A mark studies are kept here as process only. The identity is typographic; the phase-offset geometry survives as a motif.
